Our vision is effective, rooted in the history of our school and is lived out in our school’s ethos. Written by our Braywood community, it is fully established and distinctively Christian. It is underpinned by our core Christian values. Our school is a community based upon resilience, compassion and togetherness. The relationship between children, teachers and families is the cornerstone for security and success for each and every child. The years that the children spend in our school are formative years, when they discover themselves, develop their character, their individuality, their abilities and talents, their interests and their strengths. Through our inspiring and innovative curriculum, we will ensure our children are nurtured, encouraged, developed and praised.
What does it mean to be a Church School?
Although we are a Voluntary Controlled Church of England School, we welcome all children of all faiths and non-faith. Please read our Admissions Policy for further details on admissions to the school. Everyone is welcome at Braywood! As a school we are part of the Bray Parish and have very strong links to St Michael's Church in Bray. Reverend Ainsley is a huge part of our school life.
"The strength of the school is the way in which it nurtures the children. The quality of care is rooted in Christian values which emphasis the uniqueness of every individual. Parents speak of the school’s Christian ethos and this is, for some, the reason for choosing this particular school for their children. They find staff approachable, sensitive to the needs of their pupils and fully committed to a high standard of education."
